Holmby Hills has always been a hideaway for celebrities. We will run by former homes of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, Hugh Hefner, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, and Aaron Spelling. In 1994 our running tour took you past the Playboy Mansion, with a stop by the talking rock. Today we run past the Playboy Mansion to see where they film the reality show “The Girls Next Door." Our 15th Anniversary Running Tour will be offered seven days a week during the month of July at the 1994 price of $35. The tour includes our exclusively designed, dri-fit “Running from the Paparazzi” tee shirt, an while supplies last, a CD from the Michael Jackson collection.

If you love a challenge while you take in fantastic scenery you'll enjoy this 4.3-mile running tour. Highlighted by colorful flowers, leafy trees and spectacular homes, this tour offers a midway stop at the Greystone Mansion, completed in 1929 for $3.1 million. It sat on 12.58 acres and has 56 plus rooms and 45,000 square feet of living space. The Doheny family built it and Ned Doheny, the father of 5, was murdered in the house 5 months after moving in.

Being Hollywood, many films shot here include “Ghostbusters”, “Batman and Robin", "What Women Want" "The Bodyguard", "Spiderman III” and most recently, the 2007 film “There Will Be Blood” with Daniel Day Lewis.

On TV's "Gilmore Girls," Greystone Mansion is seen as the exterior of the Chilton Preparatory Academy”.

The Marvelous Mansion tour is offered Wednesday through Sunday only starting at 10:00AM. Each tour runs about 90 minutes.

Pacific Pleasures Running Tour in Santa Monica
Big waves, historical homes, and upscale shops beckon you to join us

Imagine soft sunlight on your face, the scent of the ocean, the squawk of seagulls, and the soothing sound of waves lapping against the sand. Our tour begins at the Pier in panoramic Santa Monica. Our course runs along Palisades Park with views of the ocean, past a residential street considered one of Santa Monica’s prettiest places and one of our favorites. The graceful vintage homes on large lots overlook the ocean and canyons. Homes on this street were built as early as 1907.

"I guess we would like to say we felt it was a great way to tour and see some of Beverly Hills along with the added excitement of possibly seeing some famous people. This was a gift from our son and his family as he knows we like to run and knows we are always looking for a new adventure and challenge. It was a special treat to meet Cheryl, who did an excellent job by keeping the pace at a level where we could enjoy the local sights and still breath, important for people of our age. Our daughter Mary, who lives in Hawaii, was able to come over and join us on this fun tour. We all enjoyed it, as not only did we get to be guided to some of the great spots to possibly see some "stars" but we got to enjoy the sport of running at the same time."
